Drama
Drama Courses at Arches Academy include an All-School Musical cast. Grades K and up are cast in the small/large ensemble and assigned to different scenes. All grades have the opportunity to audition for lead roles. Those cast in lead roles will rehearse during school drama classes and scheduled rehearsals before/after school and on Saturday mornings.
The school musical is a large production, combing the efforts of students, faculty, admin, parents, and other volunteers. Putting on this show doesn't mean they learn a few songs and some dance steps...it includes blocking, designing and constructing set pieces, lighting design, costume design, make-up, backstage management, and more.
