Arches Academy is the only Pre-K through 9th grade school in Utah Valley with SEVIS status. This status authorizes us to issue I-20 documents, which are necessary to obtain a student visa. We have had many international students from around the world ranging from Japan to Brazil who have greatly benefited from our English Immersion, Liberal Arts classes, and our personalized teaching approach.

​INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TUITION RATES

1st through 9th grade:  $20,000 per school year

           ***Can be customized to fit your child's time of stay 

 

Tuition covers most aspects of an International student’s involvement in school activities. It includes all class instruction fees, textbooks, and extra-curricular programs such as day field trips, team sports, school plays, and competitions. Please note that this tuition does not cover lunch, uniforms, overnight/out-of-state trips, or home stay expenses. 

 

*A signed enrollment contract is required, along with a non-refundable $2000 deposit which is credited towards the tuition once the student attends. An I-20 is issued once the deposit is received. 

 

The remaining $18,000 is due by July 1st of the year the student will attend. Additional details regarding payment of tuition will be found in the enrollment contract.

INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Arches Academy is excited to receive your application! Please complete the following steps to apply for admission to Arches Academy. All submissions can be scanned documents and should be sent to annette.warnick@archesacademy.com or faxed to 801-374-5491. All submissions must be in English.

  • Submit Application Form.

  • Submit Affidavit of Support from bank. This is a bank issued form that shows there are adequate funds in the bank to support the student while studying abroad.

  • Submit a copy of transcript and/or last two years of school records.

  • Submit a completed Teacher Recommendation Form from the student’s English Language teacher. You may choose to have additional teachers fill out the recommendation form also.

 

The Admissions Committee will review the information provided and contact eligible candidates. At the discretion of the admissions director, the applicant may be interviewed via Skype or telephone.

 

​If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and enrollment contract by email. Please then complete the enrollment process (detailed below).

 

 

INTERNATIONAL ENROLLMENT PROCESS

  • Read the Student Handbook and be sure that all policies are clearly understood by the student and parent(s) before signing the contract.

  • Sign and return completed contract that was enclosed with your acceptance letter.  Send signed contract to annette.warnick@archesacademy.com or fax to 801-374-5491.

  • Pay $2,000.00 US non-refundable tuition deposit as outlined in your contract. Payment methods are outlined in your contract. This deposit will be credited towards the tuition once the student attends.

  • Upon receipt of the tuition deposit, an I-20 will be issued. The applicant will then need to take the I-20 to their US consulate to obtain a Student Visa. (Get more info on Student Visas from Study in the States.)

  • Enroll for US based Health Insurance. International students are required to have US based health insurance coverage.

  • Submit copies of the following:

    • Copy of stamped passport

    • Birth Certificate

    • Immunization Record or Exemption Form

    • Proof of Medical Insurance

This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.

***We also welcome international students to visit/attend for a shorter American/English educational experience! Students would be able to participate in the planned field trips and activities during the time they attend. (Some trips require an additional fee.) Depending on the time of the year they attend, these trips might include skiing at Sundance Ski Resort, Utah National Park trips, out of state trips to California, Boston, New York, or DC, trips to local Fine Arts events, and more. We can customize to fit your student's length of stay. Here are some examples:

  • 2 weeks: $1,110.00

  • 1 month: $2,225.00

  • 2 months: $4,450.00
